Festive drinks from Ádám Juhász's kitchen
Christmas flavours, warming spices and creative alcohol-free specialities.
Sometimes all it takes for a Christmas mood is a steaming mug of spiced mulled wine or an exciting alcohol-free drink that brightens up the festive table.
With Ádám Juhász’s festive recipes we show you how to get even more out of Juhász wines and alcohol-free specialities. Try our recipes, experiment with the flavours, and pour a little festive creativity into your glasses!
Juhász Mulled Red Wine comes already spiced in the bottle, so all you need to do is warm it to 70–75 °C – there is no need to boil it. To make the experience even more complete, we recommend these treats:
- Bejgli – the Hungarian walnut and poppy seed rolls pair especially well with the spicy, fruity wine.
- Gingerbread, Linzer biscuits, cinnamon cookies – the spices of Christmas baking echo in the glass.
- Baked apples or apple strudel – with cinnamon, vanilla and a few walnuts.
- Roasted chestnuts – the classic companion of winter evenings.
- Orange and dark chocolate desserts – citrus and chocolate flavours bring out the spiciness of the wine.
- For a Christmas market feel – chimney cake, or for something savoury, smoked cheese and homemade sausage.
Ádám’s tip: serve it in heat-resistant glasses, garnished with a slice of orange and a cinnamon stick.
Ruby red, refreshing and sparkling – a festive cocktail that lets everyone join the toast, without alcohol. The sugared rim looks like snowflakes, while the rosemary brings the scent of a Christmas tree to the glass.
Ingredients for 4 glasses:
- 1 bottle of Juhász Eufória Sparkling 0% Alcohol-Free, well chilled
- 160 ml cranberry juice, cold
- juice of 1/2 freshly squeezed orange
- 1–2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
- a few ice cubes for the jug
- a handful of fresh or frozen cranberries
- 4 small sprigs of fresh rosemary
- for the rim: 1 lemon wedge and 2–3 tablespoons granulated sugar
Method:
- Chill the flutes, then run the lemon wedge around the rims and dip them in the sugar – this gives the rim its “snowy” look.
- In a jug with a few ice cubes, stir the cranberry juice, orange juice and maple syrup until cold and the syrup has fully dissolved.
- Place 3–4 cranberries in the bottom of each glass and fill the glasses about a third of the way with the cranberry base.
- Just before serving, slowly top up with well-chilled Eufória Sparkling 0%, pouring it down the side of the glass to keep the bubbles. No need to stir.
- Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and a thin strip of orange peel.
Ádám’s tip: for a rosé, fruitier version, put a few frozen raspberries in the bottom of the glass instead of the cranberry juice and top up with Juhász Rosé Gyöngyöző 0%.

In the run-up to Christmas it is worth taking care of gifts and wines for the festive table in advance. Browse the current webshop selection, pick your favourites, and check the delivery information before ordering.
Orders placed by midnight on 20 December will be delivered before Christmas.
Orders placed between 21 December and midnight on 27 December will be delivered before New Year’s Eve.
About delivery: Home delivery.
Pickup in person is possible until 23 December.
