Deep, dark ruby in colour, this rich and characterful red wine combines the elegance of sweet spices on the nose with complex aromas of bay leaf, dark chocolate and roasted coffee. On the palate it is full-bodied with a silky texture, its broad sip accompanied by finely polished tannins and a harmonious structure. Alongside spicy, chocolatey notes, ripe fruitiness unfolds in the flavour profile. Its lush, southern character is rounded off by a pleasant warmth and a long, velvety finish.

Food pairing: An excellent companion to grilled meats, spiced lamb dishes, traditional Hungarian cigánypecsenye, and hearty dishes cooked in a cauldron.
